Sochi's popularity soars among Tyumen residents this fall. Despite the off-season, the destination remains the top choice, attracting over 6.5 million tourists since 2025.

Tyumen Residents Flock to Sochi for Fall Holidays

Tyumen residents are flocking to Sochi for holidays this fall, with 66.7% of all requests made for the destination. The Russian regional tourism ministries and officials have played a significant role in promoting tourism in southern Russian regions, including Sochi, through various events and new sport opportunities. This trend continues even during the off-season.

Sochi's popularity has surged from last year, with Adler previously leading at 65%. A week's stay in Sochi ranges from 60,000 rubles in 3-star hotels to 80,000 rubles in 5-star hotels in late November. Since the beginning of 2025, Sochi has welcomed 6.5 million tourists.

Excursion tours to St. Petersburg are the third most popular choice among Tyumen residents. A week in St. Petersburg costs an average of 60,000 rubles in a 3-star hotel and around 88,000 rubles in a 4-star hotel. Spa and resort tours in Tyumen, Sverdlovsk regions, and Kislovodsk are the second most popular choice. A week of rest and treatment in regional health resorts costs from 86,000 to 150,000 rubles, and in Kislovodsk - from 255,000 rubles including flights.

Two-thirds of all bookings are for resorts, with Sochi leading the way for Tyumen tourists this fall. Despite the off-season, interest in Sochi remains high, indicating a strong preference for the destination among Tyumen residents.
