In a recent development, Deutsche Bahn's revamped travel center at Hamburg's bustling Central Station has made its grand comeback! Deutsche Bahn plans to invest approximately 60 million euros in modernizing travel centers at the busiest railway stations in the coming years. However, the company disclosed its intention to step back from some travel centers, such as Heide, Husum, Niebüll, and Sylt, starting from 2026. These centers will subsequently be managed by external service providers on-site.
