SWR's 'Das Ding' Expands to Pforzheim on 97.4 MHz UKW

SWR's youth station 'Das Ding' has expanded its reach, now broadcasting in Pforzheim via UKW on 97.4 MHz. The station, which is ad-free and known for its strong online presence, is a welcome addition to the region's radio scene.

Previously, 'Das Ding' was only accessible in Pforzheim via DAB on blocks 9D and 11B as part of the 'Digitalradio Südwest' bouquet. Now, listeners can tune in using standard UKW radios, thanks to the new 1 kilowatt transmitter in Arlinger. The station's content includes lifestyle, youth events, latest music, current trends, tech developments, news, and job topics. It is also present at concerts, festivals, and its own parties, engaging with young listeners.
