Announcement in the Municipality Gazette: Councilman Julien Ferrat Invites to an Exotic FKK Vacation

Politicians in Mannheim extend invitations for a Swingers' holiday at a nudist resort. - Politician from Mannheim invites to a trip for swingers, focusing on nudism.

Hey there! Got some juicy news from Mannheim that'll have you raising your eyebrows. Seems like our city councilman, Julien Ferrat, from the party The Mannheimers, took a unexpected approach to promote tourism and politics... by going full frontal for the camera in the Official Gazette!

Yep, that's right! The cover of the gazette features none other than naked Julien Ferrat, covering his boys with a sign that reads "The Mannheimers in the Council." Talk about breaking boundaries, huh?

The article's headline screams "Political Education Tour to Cap d'Agde" below, Julien invites the folks to join him on an "X-rated vacation wrought with political discourse." Sounds like a wild party at the FKK resort Village Naturiste in Cap d'Agde on the French Mediterranean coast.

"This ain't no joke," Julien says. "Drop me an email, and we'll see where this leads." Guess there are already some takers for the upcoming eight-day trip in August. Each participant is responsible for their travel expenses, as the city council's conservative faction, CDU, isn't footing the bill for this extravagant adventure.

"Eden for Nudists and Swingers"

Cap d'Agde is infamous as the "Mecca for nudists and swingers," according to Julien's contribution. He claims that, without state tourism funding, the resort would've never been built, and it marks an example of successful state-planned urban development to boost the local economy. The goal was to create a nudist tourism hotspot, which eventually gained popularity with swingers, too.

The trip itinerary includes a beach visit, swinger clubs, political discussions with the tourism office, city representatives, and hoteliers.

Cap d'Agde Tourism Office Promotes the Adult Paradise

By visiting the official tourism office website of Cap d'Agde, you can find extensive promotion of the FKK village. Private providers describe the swingers hotels in Village Naturiste as a "one-of-a-kind mix of adult-themed vacation and tantalizing sensuality."

"Why settle for a trip to the Bundestag or European Parliament when you can explore a whole new world?" Julien says. "That was my thought process anyway." And by publishing the announcement in the Official Gazette, he reached a wide audience. Julien is a single council member, currently attending social science classes, and involved in online trading; he prefers to keep his professional activities under wraps.

CDU Thumbs Down the Announcement

Christian Hötting, CDU district chairman in Mannheim, vocalizes the party's criticism of the announcement at the gazette. "The invitation is plain foolish, as I find it harmful to politics," says Hötting. "I can't see a single logical reason as to why this would benefit the city or its people. It's nothing but a PR disaster."

Hötting perceives Mannheim City Council's reputation as tarnished by the announcement. He believes citizens will associate the chaotic behavior of one council member with the rest of the assembly. The CDU refrains from intervening against the announcement, according to Hötting.

"They ain't twisting my arm to join"

Julien brushes off the criticism: "No one's forcing anyone to go," counters Julien. "Those who find the article offensive can just close it and move on."

The city administration remains mum on their assessment of the announcement. "The Official Gazette serves as the community's official announcement organ and is subject to party-political neutrality" explains a city spokesman.

Not the First Time Baring it All in the Official Gazette

The members of the city council are responsible for writing their own contributions, with this disclaimer printed under each headline: "The factions, groups, and individual city council members take responsibility for the content of their contributions. Contributions will only be rejected if they are, for example, defamatory, have no municipal relevance, or contain false claims."

It's not the first time that councilman Ferrat has stripped down for the camera in the gazette. Last year, he released a self-portrait-turned-advertisement in the Official Gazette - the picture showed him naked, covering his goods with his hands. He promised a "naked consultation hour" for those who seek total transparency.
