Unfiltered Article:

Sheikh Hassan Khan, a 38-year-old, calloused climber from Kerala, found himself in a bind, stuck at 17,000 feet on the frostbitten slopes of Mount Denali, the highest peak in North America's frozen wasteland.

This ain't Khan's first rodeo. He's bagged quite a few mountain summits spanning the continents. But this expedition, teamed with a fellow climber from Tamil Nadu, had taken a nasty turn when a raging blizzard swept 'em up, leaving 'em in dire straits.

Thankfully, their tails weren't between their legs for long. Khan and his companion were plucked outta the storm on Wednesday, putting their health scares behind 'em. His buddy, George Mathew—an ol' mate and former coworker—spoke to IANS, confirming the great news that neither of 'em's got any serious health complications.

Alaska's Governor's Chief of Staff gave the nod to Denali Rangers, who swung into action. Tucker Chenoweth, the South District Ranger at Denali National Park, hooked up with the pair through satellite communication, assuring they were hale and hearty.

The climbers aced their self-rescue, with Denali Rangers monitoring their descent, keeping in touch, and offering tips every step of the way. Thor's hammer couldn't have struck them harder, but they persisted, keepin' on with grit, determination, and a working phone.

The storm hit on Tuesday, trapping the climbers in their campsite as the weather went south. Recognizing the impending doom, Khan sent out an SOS on his satellite phone, begging for immediate aid.

High-ranking Indian and American authorities took notice, and the rescue operation went into high gear. India's Union Minister of State for Fisheries, George Kurian, Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor, State BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Congress MP Anto Antony, and other influencers made appeals to government officials and US rescue teams for assistance.

India's embassyteam worked closely with US authorities to pull off the successful rescue. Khan's family breaths a collective sigh of relief, crediting the support of friends and well-wishers for their loved one's well-deserved return.

Back in 2023, Khan had conquered Mount Denali in June. This time, he aimed to honor the Indian Armed Forces by unfurling a banner for Operation Sindoor—a goal that remains unfulfilled for now. Not one to shy away from taking on loans to pursue his passions, Khan has taken a five-year sabbatical from his government gig to focus on mountain conquering.

During his monsterous journey, Khan often remarks, "While most blokes take out loans to build their dream homes, I take out loans to scale mountains."
