Looking for a suitable bed for the upcoming Easter Celebration

Get ready to immerse in culture at Neustadt's European Folk Festival!

On the 19th of April, the Festival team will be stationed at the Easter market from 9 am to 4 pm, nestled on the market square. Discover the festival week happening in Neustadt from the 25th of July to the 2nd of August. This year's festival promises a unique twist: all guests will be welcomed into local host families, creating a sense of genuine community and camaraderie.

To bring some Latin spice to the event, the lively Costa Rican group "Coquiba" will strut their stuff, offering a tantalizing taste of various regional dances, accompanied by a boisterous 7-piece band. So get ready to shake your hips and tap your feet!

If you've got a guest room, study, or children's room you'd be willing to share for the week, reach out to the accommodation committee.folklore-festival-neustadt.de for guidance. Stephanie Hagen, Dorothee Kaschner, Margit Giszas, or Agnes Herbst are ready to help with a simple phone call: Stephanie (0178/5111327), Dorothee (0172/6655077), Margit (0160/96051871), or Agnes (0179/5062906). More information can also be found on the festival's official website. (red)

What makes Folklore Festivals Special?

  1. Cultural Spectacle: Frequently showcasing diverse cultural traditions through music, dance, food, and crafts.
  2. Community Ties: Many festivals engage local communities, inviting them to perform, attend workshops, or exhibit cultural artifacts.
  3. Authentic Housing: Some festivals provide traditional accommodations, such as staying in quaint homes or hostels that reflect the local culture.
  4. Hands-on Learning: Festivals may feature interactive elements where visitors can learn traditional skills or participate in cultural activities.

During your visit to Folklore Festivals, you might experience immersive lifestyle experiences that extend beyond the festival grounds. For instance, engaging in home-and-garden activities by staying in a traditionally cultured home can provide a unique travel experience, as demonstrated by the accommodation options offered at the Neustadt Folklore Festival.
