Lisbon's São Vicente de Fora Monastery Offers Rare Moonlit View This October

Lisbon's historic São Vicente de Fora monastery is set to host a unique event this October. 'O Luar na Torre', or 'Moonlight on the Tower', invites visitors to enjoy a rare perspective of the city from the monastery's terrace.

On October 11th, from 8 PM to 11 PM, the monastery's terrace will open its doors for just 2 €. Children under 8 can enter for free. The event is organized by the Instituto de Arte e Cultura da FCG and offers a stunning view of Lisbon's lights at night, including the Tagus river and the city's rooftops. Visitors can expect a serene atmosphere amidst the monastery's walls, domes, and the silence of the night. No advance booking is needed; simply show up and enjoy the experience.
