New General Manager Appointed at Jazeera Terminal 5

Jazeera Terminal 5 (T5) at Kuwait International Airport has a new General Manager, Alp Er Tunga Ersoy, who brings over 25 years of international experience in airport management, ground handling, terminal operations, and customer service.

In his new role, Ersoy will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, scaling infrastructure, and elevating the service proposition across the terminal portfolio. His expertise is expected to support operational excellence and the enhancement of passenger experience at T5, which currently serves around 5 million passengers annually and is considered a benchmark for efficiency in the region.

Krishnan Balakrishnan, Deputy CEO and CFO at Jazeera Airways, stated that in his role, Alp will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, scaling infrastructure, and elevating the service proposition across the terminal portfolio. Delivering a seamless and customer-focused airport experience remains central to the airline's vision.

Jazeera Airways' plans for T6 indicate ongoing investments in expanding its terminal portfolio. The growth in passenger traffic is driven by Jazeera Airways' expanding network across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Alp Er Tunga Ersoy's goals for his new role include enhancing efficiency, elevating the passenger experience, and shaping the future of airport travel in the region.

Ersoy's appointment reinforces Jazeera Airways' commitment to supporting Kuwait's ambition of becoming a premier regional aviation and transit hub. The airline's focus on innovation and customer service is evident in the rapid success of T5 and the plans for T6, which aim to redefine the airport experience in Kuwait and the region.
