JPA & Dutch Design Unveil Luxury Wellness Concepts in Private Aviation & Yachting
JPA Design and Dutch Bros have unveiled innovative concepts in private aviation and yachting. JPA's Afterglow is a private jet focused on wellness and lighting, while Dutch Bros' Sea Rover is a wellness-first yacht that packs the grandeur of a mega yacht into a compact size.
The Afterglow, a private jet concept by JPA Design, centres around wellness and lighting design. It features a unique 'orb' that mimics the sun's movement, creating an optimum lighting cycle for passengers to sync with natural circadian rhythms. The owner's cabin is a sanctuary, boasting a Japanese onsen-style tub and steam room in its separate bathing area. Additionally, the cabin includes a generous washroom, changing area, custom mini bar, and a sofa that converts to a double bed.
Dutch Bros' Sea Rover, a 42.5-metre (140-foot) long superyacht, aims to compress the grandeur of a 300-foot mega yacht into its compact size. The yacht is a wellness-first design, featuring a spa, a fully equipped gym, an adaptable sport court, and a beach club with a wet bar and dining space. It also boasts a transparent design, with the dining room open to the kitchen and a glass hallway revealing the engine room. Dutch Bros hopes to build ten examples of the Sea Rover, with personal requirements potentially overriding the original design vision.
Both concepts, JPA Design's Afterglow and Dutch Bros' Sea Rover, redefine luxury and wellness in their respective fields. While Afterglow brings natural lighting to private aviation, Sea Rover revolutionizes wellness yachting with its compact yet grand design.
