New Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Opens at Vilnius Airport
In an exciting development for the hospitality industry, Radisson Hotel Group has opened a new Park Inn by Radisson Hotel at Vilnius Airport. The hotel, named the Park Inn by Radisson Vilnius Airport Hotel & Business Centre, is the first branded airport hotel in Lithuania and the Baltics region.
Strategically located just a 5-minute walk from Vilnius Airport, the hotel is easily accessible and insulated from bad weather, making it an ideal choice for international travelers and short-haul airline crews. The hotel's proximity to the airport also caters to specific traveler segments, such as those on short, same-day business trips or meetings.
The hotel adheres to the latest modern design standards and meets Radisson hotel chain requirements. The interior design, which follows the latest Radisson Hotel Group Design standards, was significantly influenced by Marius Jakulis Jason, an artist who has been in the hospitality business for over 20 years. Marius' input focused on avoiding standard Park Inn brand colors like purple, green, and yellow, and staying with a more classy/neutral color palette (grey/white/black) for the rooms. Each room is adorned with photographs of Lithuania, taken by the well-known photographer Marius Jovaisa.
The hotel offers 120 guest rooms and four meeting rooms totalling 400sq.m. The hotel's business centre can accommodate up to 300 people, with the largest meeting rooms accommodating up to 150 people. The hotel's amenities include an Italian style Bocca Buona restaurant and bar, a modern gym, and parking.
The hotel's opening received support from investors, partners, and other hospitality industry players. During the COVID pandemic, travelers may choose to stay in the hotel due to its isolation from crowded cities. The hotel implements the latest Radisson safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Vilnius International Airport (VNO) is one of Europe's fastest-growing airports with an 8.2% passenger flow CAGR (2008-2019). The hotel's strategic location is expected to contribute to its success. The hotel caters to a variety of traveler segments, making it a valuable addition to the airport's services and the hospitality industry in Lithuania.
