FairPrice Group Unveils AI-Powered Digital Tools for Travellers in Singapore

FairPrice Group (FPG) has launched a suite of digital tools to enhance the shopping experience for travellers in Singapore. Powered by Ant International through Alipay+, these AI-driven tools support personalised engagement, secure transactions, and smarter discovery. FPG has partnered with Ant International to introduce these innovations, which are now available at over 500 outlets across the city-state.

The new digital concierge app offers a range of services to make shopping more convenient for travellers. It allows users to plan their pre-arrival shopping list, redeem in-app vouchers, and receive location-based product recommendations. Additionally, a curated catalogue of over 500 products is available for pre-departure gift shopping, with store mapping for easy pick-up.

The Cheers Mini App on Alipay is the first and only dedicated mini app for a convenience chain in Singapore. It is now live and ready to serve Chinese tourists visiting the country. Selected Cheers outlets at key tourist locations, such as Changi Airport and popular attractions, are stocked with Singapore-themed souvenirs and travel essentials. These can be purchased using cross-border mobile payments from 18 international partners linked through the Alipay+ global wallet network operated by Ant International.

Through this partnership, FPG can now offer travellers an end-to-end digital shopping experience. The AI-driven insights provided by these tools enable FPG to better understand and cater to the needs of its international customers. With over 500 FPG outlets now accepting mobile payments from 18 international partners, covering travellers from 12 countries and regions, FPG continues to expand its reach and improve its services for the global traveller.
