Exciting high waves and compact surfboards are the highlight of the Beach Resort Event!
From July 1, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. local time to July 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time, the Pikmin Bloom app is hosting a Beach Resort Event, introducing new Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin and the return of the popular Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin[1][2].
## Event Highlights
The Beach Resort Event offers a variety of exciting features for players. During the event, players may encounter Seafoam Mushrooms, and when destroyed, they will receive Mystery Boxes containing items such as Sea Glass, flower petals, and other rewards[3].
Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin and Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than usual against all types of mushrooms, making them particularly effective against Seafoam Mushrooms[4]. Participants can obtain these decorative Pikmin, as well as in-app rewards, by clearing Event Challenge missions[1][2].
When the Big Flower at the centre of the stage blooms, players are guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling in addition to random rewards[5]. Gold Seedlings can also be obtained by inviting friends to play Pikmin Bloom between July 1st and July 31st[2].
Moreover, players can collect beach resort-themed in-app costumes for their Mii character and seedlings for the Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin by clearing missions to collect Sea Glass at the start of the event[1].
## Participation Steps
To participate in the event, ensure you have the latest version of Pikmin Bloom (v122 or later) installed on your smartphone to display the Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin correctly[2]. Complete Event Challenge missions to earn rewards randomly, which may include seedlings that grow into Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin, Sea Glass, flower petals, or other items[1][2].
Joining a Seafoam Mushroom battle after the event is over in your time zone will not result in receiving a Mystery Box[6].

Persistent Internet and a compatible smartphone are required to play. Sea Glass can be obtained from Event Challenge rewards, flower planting, Mystery Boxes from Seafoam Mushrooms, Event Premium Pass, limited-time bundle pack, or Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack[7]. Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions can grow into any of the 7 available types for Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin[7].
