Blue Yonder to Acquire One Network in 2024, Boosting Supply Chain Capabilities
Blue Yonder is set to acquire One Network in the latter half of 2024, subject to regulatory approval. The takeover, expected in Q2 or Q3, will strengthen Blue Yonder's supply chain and logistics capabilities. However, no official announcements from either company confirm this timeline.
Blue Yonder is enhancing its machine learning algorithms for the third generation. This update aims to overcome mainstream limitations and boost supply chain efficiency. Meanwhile, One Network specialises in Digital Supply Chain Network technology, serving various sectors including automotive manufacturing and logistics.
The acquisition will merge these strengths, offering customers real-time visibility across the supply chain. This includes tracking from raw material suppliers to OEM customers and carriers. Blue Yonder's cloud platform will facilitate real-time planning, execution, and monitoring of business processes along the supply chain. The goal is to create a resilient and collaborative supply chain through a unified platform enabling multi-tier orchestration, planning, and collaboration.
The Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Digital Strategies North America conference, scheduled for 26-27 June 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee, may provide further insights into this acquisition. If approved, the takeover will bolster Blue Yonder's supply chain services, offering customers real-time visibility and improved planning capabilities.
