Airbus Defence & Space Appoints Nathalie Rau as Executive VP of HR

Airbus Defence and Space has appointed Nathalie Rau as its Executive Vice-President of Human Resources. She brings a wealth of experience from diverse industries and a strong legal background to the role.

Rau began her career in 2005 at arvato direct services after qualifying as a lawyer. She then spent nine years with the Lufthansa Group, rising to key leadership roles such as Vice-President of HR & Organisation at Austrian Airlines and Senior Vice-President of Human Resources at Eurowings.

After Lufthansa, Nathalie served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Magenta Telekom in Vienna, Austria. She later joined Universal Music Group as Senior Vice-President of People and Culture before moving to Airbus.

Nathalie's legal background has significantly influenced her approach to creating fair and clear frameworks for people and organisations throughout her career. She holds law degrees from Universität Passau, Germany, Université Toulouse I, and Université du Maine in France.
